Methyl Orange

At school Nick Wall was the guru when it came to all things contemporary music. Now he's Methyl Orange.

Here's what Spotify has to say about the artist - ‘Methyl Orange music is a melodic mix of layered and cinematic synths and guitars, spanning a wide range of genres and styles, with the feel of a collection of ‘undiscovered’ TV and film themes. At times evoking 70s/80s vibes all wrapped up in the unique modern sound that is Methyl Orange’

‘Song for Geoff’ kicks off his first album from 2017 with a great vibe and his latest release includes some great fresh synth including ‘Sliding Doors’

January 2026

Methyl Orange (aka Nick Wall) takes third place at the 2026 Radio Wigwam Awards - Best Electro Act

Cry Wolf

From 1974 to 1977, Cry Wolf performed original material around Manchester. The band featured Ian Pryce on vocals and guitar, Robert Ridley on guitar, Keith Snelson on drums, with me playing bass. Ian was the primary songwriter. Since those days Ian has been involved in a number of musical projects; one example is his work with Atticus Finch, featuring Jo Done on vocals, linked here.
